BRAD MIDGETTE, P.E.

Partner / Director of Construction

Brad Midgette is a land developer, civil engineer and construction manager with over twenty years of experience in real estate and related fields. He currently oversees all of Wright Partner’s construction activities and is also actively involved in site acquisition, project permitting and design, and finance.

Prior to joining Wright Partners in 2004, Brad was a Design Engineer with American Water, then the largest privately held water utility in the United States. Brad began his career as a consulting engineer designing commercial and residential land development projects.

Brad graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. In addition, he is registered Professional Engineer in Maryland and New York.

CARL WRIGHT, P.E.

Founder & President

Carl has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and a licensed Professional Engineer in PA and NJ.

Carl started in the construction trades to work his way through high school and college. After graduation, Carl was hired by URS, a global leader in engineering and construction, leading environmental cleanup projects as a general contractor. Carl then learned the land development business from the inside as a project manager for Nave Newell, a land development engineering company.

Carl founded the Wright Partners in 1998 as a way to combine his passions for real estate, engineering and construction.

Carl was interviewed by Darren Hardy, publisher of Success Magazine, and has been a repeat guest on Onward Nation Podcast for how business owners Think, Act & Achieve.
In his spare time he is surfing at the world’s best surf spots or training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in which he’s a first degree black belt. He completed Ironman Lake Placid in 2014.

BILL ROUNTREE, P.E.

Director of Development

Mr. Rountree oversees Due Diligence, Environmental and Land Development activities for all Wright Partners projects.

Before joining Wright Partners in 2015, Bill worked at various Environmental and Civil Engineering Consulting Firms, where he designed and managed large commercial/residential land development, electric utility transmission and natural gas exploration and production projects. Bill began his career as design engineer and construction quality assurance specialist for solid waste landfills.

Bill received a BS in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.

CORTNEY WRIGHT

Controller / Project Manager
Cortney leads the financing functions of the business including construction loan draws, financial operations and closing of all real estate transactions. Cortney enjoys having great relationships with attorneys, bankers, contractors and tenants. She also assists in analyzing financial metrics and managing company assets.

Before joining Wright Partners in 2008, Cortney worked at various retail and medical companies where she performed administration and management functions related to operations and customer relations. The organization and communication skills she developed during this time period translate directly to her duties at Wright Partners.

Cortney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University in 2006 and her Masters of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership from PCOM in 2009.

Kurt Hutter

Director of Leasing and Acquisitions

Kurt has a background in engineering and real estate development and leads Leasing and Acquisitions for Wright Partners. Prior to joining, Kurt lead the national real estate development platform for Anchor Health Properties for 10 years developing projects as large as 1 million sq.-ft.

Kurt’s other business experience includes Division Manager for Orleans Homebuilders in their Charlotte, NC office, Director of Development for Orleans Homebuilders in in their Philadelphia office, and several years in engineering and construction management.

Kurt has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Drexel University.

Kate Dean

Administrative Assistant

Kate became a member of the Wright Partners team in 2017. She is a graduate of Widener University School of Law obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree as well as her Paralegal Certification in 2003.

Prior to her start at Wright Partners, Kate was employed at Dilworth Paxson, LLP and more recently at investment management firm Brinker Capital.
